The Pasadena Livestock Show and Rodeo is being held during the middle of September.  Deer Park FFA is invited to participate and treats this show as our "Local Show".  If you would like more information follow the link  www.pasadenarodeo.com to their site.

To become a participant in this show through Deer Park FFA you must follow a few steps.
  If your student is in the 8th grade and enrolled in Deer Park ISD (including Open Enrollment) and will be enrolled in "Principles of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources" as a 9th grade student they may choose to participate.  An Informational Meeting is held each spring to discuss specific animal requirements and to request stall space at the DPISD Ag Center Facility.   After attending this meeting and filling out all required paperwork your student would have the opportunity to raise an animal for exhibition.  Students currently in the 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th grade are eligible to exhibit at PLSR in September of the following school year.
