"Major Livestock Shows" are shows that are open to any FFA chapters or 4H clubs in the state.  These shows are usually much more competative than a local show would be.  The time frame of raising an animal for these shows differ from the time frame of raising for PLSR.  Typically, more experienced show exhibitors attend these shows after having first competed locally at the PLSR show.  If you have questions about major shows please follow the links below or contact us at the Ag Science Center.  As a Deer Park FFA member you MUST enter these shows through us by attending our mandatory Entry Meeting each year, scheduled as necessary.
